Shri Moreshwar Abhyankar Public School (MAPS) is founded in the memory of Late Shri Moreshwar Abhyankar (Bade Sir), who served this village as a teacher for over 15 years and then pioneered the coaching industry in Indore and trained more than 1L students in a span of 30+ years. As a teacher he dedicated his life to provide high quality education to all strata of the society at a very affordable price. He is remembered not only for his teaching skills but also for his understanding of human pain. He imparted free education to thousands of needy students.
This school is just a small attempt to pay homage to the great soul. Being associated with this area for over 25 years, we have a good understanding of the social and educational needs of the area. With the increase in the awareness towards education and lack of even the very basic needs of education like good class rooms. furniture, teachers and teaching aids in this region, lot of children are forced to join schools at Indore. Because of very high fees structure, these schools, not only put financial burden on parents but also put physical and mental pressure on these kids. These kids ageing from 3 years to 13 years have to spend hours in buses to travel between their homes and schools at lndore. This is a social offence against these kids. The time when they deserve comforts of their homes and the love of their parents, they are pushed in these buses to face pollution, dust and heat.
SMAPS is an attempt to return childhood to these kids. At MAPS we will give all the facilities which a good education system needs and the children of this area deserve. We provide the best and the most modern education systems which are not available even in the most costly schools at Indore. We provide education of high standards with skilled and qualified teachers. Audiovisual aids for better understanding and a great management structure for the smooth functioning of the school.
Our Day-Borading facility shall help the students to get rid of extra tuition. At MAPS we will educate students on subjects like environment protection, solar and bio energy and subjects related to agriculture. A well equipped computer lab with internet facility is also available in the school. We provide sport facilities which can be made available in the limited resources with regards to space, time and money. 3 Indoor badminton courts are available at the campus. At MAPS we promise to give education with full emphasis on character building.
